At my age, I can really feel the aches and pains of training two or three times a day. I have to rely heavily on rest time and anything else that will help my recovery time. Especially during seasonal changes. The aching is worst going into the colder seasons. One thing that I've found to be very helpful is compression, especially around my knees and hamstrings.
